• Peshawar-To Adequately deals with the flood situation in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, chief secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Shahzad khan Bangash hold a video link meeting of all commissioners and deputy commissioner on Thursday as chairman.
• The purpose of this meeting was to review the relief and rescue operation in flood-affected areas of the province. The Senior Member board of revenue, secretary Relief, and director of PMRU also attended this meeting.
• Meanwhile, as per the instruction of chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa emergency for the tank district has been declared due to heavy rain. The district administration and rescue authorities execute emergency relief operations in the areas affected by floods under the chief minister's direction.
• In the Direction of CS, the government makes sure that machinery should be fully mobilized for rescue and relief work. Moreover, it emphasized that victims should be taken to safe places and provision of all facilities to needy people should be ensured. Commissioner DI khan and the Commissioner deputy are directed by the Chief Minister to supervise all the rescue operations and relief activities of the Tank district personally.
